Night duty

Finally..i have ended my 3 rounds of night shift..supposed to my sleeping day..and i onli slept a mere 4 hours onli..well who cares coz tmr is my rest day..plus weekends and PH...so hopefully i can sleep like a log..

Anyway these 3 past night shift have been a hell of a night..thr constant pain and the silence trap at your own cubicle wondering and poundering about almost everything...trying to keep awake before anything happens to the patients..

Night 1..an unfortunate incident happen which landed my friend(which one???go figure) and i into a hot soup..here is the incident..My frend was not being told to stay at her cubicle 24/7..well am sure those doing nite shift will rather stay at the nurses counter...slacking..well not for us..

Well this frend of mine was helping me to take an hrly para for a difficult pt who onli speaks hokkien..at my cubicle..however she is in Team 1..so she cross over to my team(Team 3) and unexpectly the pt at her cubicle who was a moment ago was sleeping,climb out of her bed and fell...she was bleeding from her head...And there the pin pointing,blaming were point at her..Questions like.."Where were u...??''why did u cross over??''...BULLSHIT...!!!where were all the staff nurses then????siting at the nurses counter doing their freaking report...

Its a long story to begin..but im glad its over... The Sister spoke to us and the blame was not pointed at her..or me.. but in fact everyone who did the night duty..
As for me....i Was told to work together with my team and not a frend who is from diffrent team..for any simple reasons though some staff are unapproachable...

I really thank my colleague..and my lecturer who is always supportive...Today when i handed her my reflection letter...she told me..no one is to be blame..(well i wrote in the letter that i was partly to blame..)..and im always glad that your my lecturer..

Well this 3 days of night shift have taught me a lot of things.....we learnt from our mistakes and grew from it....and spending time with the 2 girls is the best moment ever...and not forgotting the our last night mini party..free food...free Money...plus the cam-whorring..

PS:Happy sleeping day and rest day and enjoy the remaining 5 days off...''GOOD NITE'' gals..(hehe)
